The UK government operates a five-tier points-based system for non-EEA migrants to work here. Eligibility for a visa in any of the five tiers is determined by passing a points-based assessment. Points are assigned for specific skills, qualifications, salaries, and shortage occupations. You must have enough points to be allowed to work in the UK. You can apply for an Innovator Founder visa if you want to set up and run an innovative business in the UK. Your business must be different from anything else on the market and your business (or business idea) must be endorsed by an approved body. You will need to show your endorsing body after 12 months and 24 months that you are making progress with your business.
